Union members march through Belfast in memory of colleagues
Several thousand union members have been taking part in the annual parade through Belfast to mark the beginning of May.
This year’s march is dedicated to the memory of two fellow union members who were shot dead by paramilitaries in recent months.
Catholic postman, Danny McColgan was killed in January of this year and Sunday World journalist, Martin O’Hagan was shot dead in Lurgan last September.
The march ended with the unveiling of a plaque in the memory of Mr O’Hagan by his widow.
