Labour welcomes 12% opinion poll support

The Labour Party has said it is very satisfied with the results of this morning’s opinion poll, which put the party’s support at 12% nationwide and 17% in Dublin.

Speaking at a press conference in Dublin, the party’s deputy leader, Brendan Howlin, predicted that Fianna Fail’s support will decline in the coming weeks and he accused the main government party as arrogance and smugness in the election campaign so far.
