FG campaign to focus on education policy

Education policy is expected to top the agenda on the Fine Gael election campaign today.

Party leader Michael Noonan is canvassing in Tipperary north, Tipperary south and Laois-Offaly.

Mr Noonan is expected to attack the Government over its failure to modernise dilapidated schools.

He is also expected to make a commitment to address the problems of education for children with special needs.
