Unmarried fathers group launches election manifesto
The Unmarried Fathers of Ireland, which is running three candidates in Dublin, has launched its election manifesto this afternoon.
The lobby group said it wants to improve family law in Ireland by amending the constitution in line with the divorce referendum which was passed in 1997.
Eamonn Quinn, who is standing in Dublin north, said: "We want to set up a child access enforcement agency to coincide with a maintenance enforcement agency.
"If we can take family law out of the criminal courts and out into a special family-orientated, family-friendly environment it would be much better."
