Martin defends Government record on health spending

The Government’s record on health spending has been strongly defended in the wake of comments by the Fine Gael leader, who described the spend as abysmal.

Michael Noonan criticised the Department of Health for failing to provide a two-fold increase in health services, despite doubling its spending.
