Fine Gael to canvass Connacht voters

The Fine Gael leader will canvass voters in North Connacht today.

Michael Noonan is expected be heavily critical of Government policy on regional development.

Most of the day will be spent in Leitrim where it is believed he will make a call for more decentralisation and the speedy introduction of broadband technology into the regions.

The tour will continue through Boyle in Co Roscommon, Castlebar and Ballina in Co Mayo before continuing on to Sligo later this evening.
