Labour propose national stadium plan

Labour Party leader Ruairi Quinn has come out in favour of a national stadium for Ireland, but his plans diverge significantly with those of Bertie Ahern.

Mr Quinn said today that he would scale down Mr Ahern’s proposals for a stadium and would locate it in Dublin’s docklands rather than in Abbotstown in west Dublin.
