Woman's body retrieved from Co Galway lake

The body of a woman has been taken from a lake in Moycullen in Co Galway this afternoon.

Gardai, assisted by members of the Galway sub-aqua club, retrieved the body from the lake at 3pm.

It is not yet known if the body is that of local woman, Philomena Walsh from Lealetter, Moycullen, who has been missing since last Thursday.
