Cooper-Flynn under pressure to retain seat

Former Fianna Fáil TD Beverley Cooper-Flynn will struggle to retain her seat in the upcoming general election, according to an opinion poll commissioned by the Mayo News.

The poll shows that Ms Cooper-Flynn’s support in Mayo has almost halved since 1997, while overall support for Fianna Fáil in the constituency has slumped 10% since the last election.
