The leader of the Ulster Unionist Party David Trimble has called on the Police Service in Northern Ireland to reveal what was the exact information that was discovered in IRA intelligence files yesterday.

The leader of the Ulster Unionist Party David Trimble has called on the Police Service in Northern Ireland to reveal what was the exact information that was discovered in IRA intelligence files yesterday.

Mr Trimble is anxious to find out if the confiscated files, which are believed to include a ‘hit-list’ of senior Unionist and Conservative politicians, contains sensitive information that could not be found in the public domain.

He says that if his party believes the IRA is in breach of its cease-fire it will seek to bring sanctions against it.
