Financial sector to pay costs of new regulator

Financial bodies will be asked to pay the costs of their new regulator under new legislation due to be published today.

The Minister for Finance is expected to make public the Central Bank and Financial Services Authority Bill, which will shift the €15m burden off the taxpayer and onto the financial sector itself.
