Gardai in Dublin are waiting to question the two men who were travelling in a stolen car which rammed a garda squad car yesterday, killing two gardai.

53-year-old Anthony Tighe and 27-year-old Michael Padden died while trying to prevent other motorists from colliding with the speeding vehicle.

The two men in the stolen Mazda are currently in St James' Hospital with minor injuries.
