Two gardai killed in Dublin

Two gardai have died after their patrol car was in collision with a stolen vehicle.

They were killed at 6.30 this morning on the south side of the city. The incident happened in the suburb area of Stillorgan.

The gardai, one of whom was in his early twenties and the other in his fifties, have not been named yet.

Two people have been detained in St. James’ hospital in relation to the incident.
