Cardinal Connell expected to make statement today

Cardinal Desmond Connell is expected to make a statement in relation to a clerical sexual abuse inquiry later today.

The case concerns Marie Collins who has accused the Catholic Church of shielding a priest who abused her from a Garda inquiry.
