Officers blame Republicans for police station bombings

Dissident Republicans have been blamed for the bomb attack on two police stations in the North last night.

The explosions were caused by improvised pipe bombs.

The blasts happened at Downpatrick and Ardglass in County Down. Officers say that the strikes were intended to kill or cause injury.
