Heroin seized in Dublin swoop

Heroin with an estimated street value of €50,000 has been seized during a swoop in Dublin.

Gardai attached to the Kilmainham Drugs Unit made the seizure at a house in Sundrive, Crumlin.

A man in his late 20s has been arrested.

He’s being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act and can be detained for a maximum of 12 hours.

The seizure followed a week-long surveillance operation.
