FG call for clarity on letters
Fine Gael has called on Justice Minister John O'Donoghue to clarify whether he personally signed the nine letters sent in his name to Bobby Molloy.
Fine Gael's justice spokesman, Alan Shatter said the matter could only be clarified with publication of the letters.
"This can be easily answered by publication of the original letters which must be in the possession of former Minister Molloy and copies of which he must have forwarded to his constituent, Anne Naugton, on whose behalf he acted," said Mr Shatter.
"Minister O'Donoghue must also explain how things have reached a point where he is presiding over a department in which the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing and the person in charge is suffering from political amnesia," he added.
