IFA wants €30m Japan export market reopened

The country's main farming group is calling on the Minister for Agriculture to apply pressure on Japan to re-open the pigmeat export trade from Ireland.

The market, which is worth over €30m per year, has been closed since Ireland's only foot and mouth outbreak last March.
