Kelly granted leave for judicial review

A Fianna Fail candidate has won the first round of his legal battle against election spending limits.

Des Kelly from Dublin Mid West claims that such limits discriminate in favour of sitting TDs and Senators, who can avail of free Oireachtas postage and secretarial services.
