Woman killed in Laois car accident

A woman has been killed in a head on crash in Co Laois.

Five others were injured in the accident and two are said to be in a serious condition.

It happened on the main Portlaoise to Abbeyleix Road around 1am last night.

The name of the deceased will not be released until all relatives have been informed.
