Gardai tonight said they were taking legal advice on powers available to deal with a move by traveller community families to locate their caravans on land in Dublin close to some of Ireland’s most expensive homes.

Gardai tonight said they were taking legal advice on powers available to deal with a move by traveller community families to locate their caravans on land in Dublin close to some of Ireland’s most expensive homes.

The six caravans arrived late last week on ground belonging to the Russian Consulate in the Dublin's Foxrock suburb.
