Castlereagh employee among six arrested
It has emerged that one of the six people arrested this morning in connection with the Castlereagh raid were employed in the Complex.
The latest news will add weight to PSNI Chief Ronnie Flanagan’s claims that the theft was an "inside job".
Earlier today, an official said that two premises in Derry were searched under the Prevention of Terrorism Act.
Police arrested one man at his home in Limewood Street during a search involving forensic experts.
Republicans in the area claim that offices of Tar Abhaile, a group supporting former republican prisoners, were also searched.
Police have stated that people have been arrested in the bogside area of the city. Sinn Féin are condemning the searches.
The arrests come after the Castlereagh security breach where an officer was assaulted on St Patrick’s Day and secret documents were stolen.
