FG: New Pensions Ombudsman's powers limited

Fine Gael is accusing the Government of tying the hands of a new Pensions Ombudsman, even before he or she is appointed.

The Party’s Social and Community Affairs spokesman, Brian Hayes, says the Ombudsman can only investigate complaints made to his office dating from six years before the legislation is enacted.
