PAC wants to question Magahy

The head of Executive Services of the Stadium Ireland project, Laura Magahy, is to be invited to appear before the powerful Dail Public Accounts Committee next week.

The Tanaiste has called for the new chair of Campus Stadium Ireland to re-examine the contracts awarded to Ms Magahy's company.

The chairman of the PAC, Fine Gael's Michael Finucane, said Ms Magahy cannot be compelled to attend, but should do so in the public interest.

Deputy Finucane said the PAC was hopeful she would accept the invitation.
