Eurocopter to take Minister for Defence to court
The company which lost the bid to provide the Aer Corps with new helicopters has commenced legal action against the Minister for Defence.
Eurocopter, who lost out to American manufacturer Sikorsky, has confirmed that it started judicial review proceedings.
The French-German firm points out its tender was the one selected by an expert group appointed by the Minister and claims the Sikorsky tender was not complete and the rules of the competition were effectively changed.
