Police in the North have named the 12-year-old girl who died in a house fire in Co Antrim yesterday as Ann Marie O’Boyle, from Toomebridge.

Police in the North have named the 12-year-old girl who died in a house fire in Co Antrim yesterday as Ann Marie O’Boyle, from Toomebridge.

Three other girls, including Ann Marie’s eight-year-old and three-year-old sisters, as well as a 13-year-old friend, are still in a critical condition in hospital today following the fire.

Investigators believe the blaze broke out in the living room of the house in Toomebridge and the scene has been preserved for examination by forensic experts today.
