GAA: Roscommon ran out winners today

Roscommon ran out winners at Parnell Park against Dublin on a scoreline of

2-12 to 0-16 in what was an enthralling match.

Dublin started brightly in the first half but seven points in a row from

the Connacht side gave them a half-time lead of 0-10 to 0-05.

Dublin surged back into the game after the beak, limiting Roscommon to only

four scores.

However, two of those were goals, coning from Nigel Dineen and Stephen Lohan

and despite Dublin having similar goal chances, John Tobin's men clung on

for a narrow two-point win.
