Woman hurt in bomb clash attacks
A woman was injured in a blast bomb explosion during renewed sectarian clashes in north Belfast today.
She was hurt when rival loyalist and nationalist crowds, each around 100 strong, fought in the Hallidays Road area.
Police said the woman, in her 30s, was injured when a blast bomb struck a car, shattering all its windows.
She was taken to hospital suffering from an eye injury and cuts to her face.
The sectarian clashes broke out again after a night of violence which left five police officers injured when they came under sustained attack by loyalists when they moved into the north Belfast area to separate rival factions.
