Ground Zero victim to be buried in Sligo
An Irish victim of the World Trade Centre attack is to be buried in his native Co Sligo.
Rescuers at Ground Zero have recovered and identified the body of 35-year-old Kieran Gorman.
He was working on the upper levels of one of the towers when disaster struck on September 11.
He will be buried in Court Abbey Cemetery, Co Sligo.
His wife, Anne, returned to Ireland with their three young sons in the wake of the terror attacks.
The family has paid tribute to staff at the Department of Foreign Affairs and also asked that their thanks for rescue workers, family and friends be placed on record.
