The Labour Party has criticised Justice Minister John O’Donoghue for not consulting the opposition over the establishment of a tribunal into alleged garda corruption in Donegal.

The Labour Party has criticised Justice Minister John O’Donoghue for not consulting the opposition over the establishment of a tribunal into alleged garda corruption in Donegal.

Labour spokesman Brendan Howlin said the minister promised to consult other parties over the terms of reference of the tribunal, but has not done so. The Dail is due to debate the legislation needed to establish the tribunal this Friday.
