Union slams trends in employee pension schemes

Amicus MSF, the union for manufacturing, science and finance workers, has said taxpayers will have to pick up the tab for shortfalls in occupational pensions.

The union was speaking against the growing trend away from defined benefit pension schemes as employers look to cut employee pension contribution costs.
