Limerick Gardai hold three in massive drug haul

Gardai in Limerick are questioning three people including a teenage boy in connection with a large drugs find overnight.

Drugs with a street value of €500,000 were recovered.

The drugs consisted of 20,000 ecstasy tablets, and quantities of cocaine and cannabis. Two firearms were also recovered.

The three suspects, a man, a woman and a teenager, are being held at Henry St Garda Station in Limerick city.
