Trimble defiant about Republic remarks

Ulster Unionist leader, David Trimble, has once again refused to back down on his view that the Republic is "pathetic" and "sectarian".

Although Mr Trimble will meet the Taoiseach at the White House today, and Mr Ahern has criticised his remarks, Mr Trimble said the two men could still work together.
