Gardai investigate link between deaths in Waterford
Gardai in Co Cork investigating the murders of two people in West Waterford overnight believe the killings may be linked.
A man’s body was discovered outside a pub in Clashmore, while the body of a woman was found at a house in Bawnacommeragh in Ardmore.
It is believed the woman had worked for the man whose body was found at around 4am.
It is thought he died of gunshot wounds.
The woman's body was found in a house about five miles away - she is believed to have died from stab wounds.
The Garda Technical Bureau and the State Pathologist's office have been notified.
