Hotel industry suffered in 2001 - figures

The hotel industry experienced a fall in occupancy levels last year, according to new Bórd Fáilte figures.

The survey reveals the losses were due predominantly to the foot-and-mouth crisis, and the September 11 terrorist attacks.
