The survey reveals the losses were due predominantly to the foot-and-mouth crisis, and the September 11 terrorist attacks.

Bórd Fáilte is warning the tourism industry not to overprice itself. Acting chief executive Niall Reddy says price will be a key feature in performance for 2002.
