Result of nurses' ballot to be known today

The Irish Nurses Organisation is expected to announce the result of a strike ballot later today.

Members who work in accident and emergency departments were asked to vote on the proposed industrial action due to what are claimed to be excessive workloads and overcrowding in A&E units.
