Body in Belfast alley: Man questioned
Police were today continuing to question a man on suspicion of murder after the discovery of a body in a Belfast alleyway.
The body of Glen Irvine, 38, was discovered yesterday in an alleyway at Lord Street in Belfast’s loyalist Mountpottinger area where he lived.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland said he had suffered severe head injuries.
A man arrested yesterday remained in police custody, a spokesman said.
It is not clear how Mr Irvine died but it is understood detectives believe there could have been a fight before his death.
