Garda held following sex assault allegations

A Garda sergeant has been arrested in Dublin following allegations that he sexually assaulted a female member of the jury in a recent murder trial.

The woman was part of the jury for the trial of Martin McDonagh, who was convicted last week of the murder of a fellow traveller at a funeral in 1999.
