Two people killed in early morning road accidents

Two people have died in separate road accidents in Co Tipperary and Co Donegal this morning.

A pedestrian, believed to be in his 50s, died when he was hit by a car at Ballybeg, near Thurles in Co Tipperary, at around 4am, while a 42-year-old man died when his car left the road and crashed at Umricam, near Buncrana in Co Donegal, just before 1am.
