42-year-old killed in Co Donegal crash

A 42-year-old man has died in a road accident at Umricam, near Buncrana in Co Donegal, early this morning.

The man died after the car he was travelling in left the road and crashed just before 1am.

The dead man, whose family has yet to be notified, is believed to be from the North of Ireland.

His death follows six other fatalities on Ireland’s roads over the weekend, including a mother and her 11-year-old daughter who died in a head-on collision on the N24 between Tipperary Town and Limerick yesterday afternoon.
