Cannabis stash found in a field in Co Cork

Gardai in Co Cork have arrested a 24-year-old man following a cannabis seizure in a field at Carrigohane shortly before midday today.

Gardai estimate that the total street value of the find is around €100,000. The man is being held under Section four of the Criminal Justice Act at Gurranbraher Garda Station.

Earlier today, Gardai in Maynooth seized nine bars of cannabis at Barrogustown bringing the total of cannabis seizures in the past twenty-four hours to four.
