Homes in the North have power restored

Northern Ireland Electricity have restored power to most of the 1,500 homes in the north that were left without electricity after heavy storms last night.

The company says that majority of the 400 customers who still have no power should have their power restored this afternoon.

The power cut caused ferry sailings to be canceled and Belfast International airport was also closed for a while.
