Irish earn hardest workers in EU tag

The Irish are the hardest workers in the EU, according to the latest figures. Productivity here is increasing at six times the EU average, though wages are also rising much faster.

The report also found that workers and their employers pay less in tax and social insurance contributions than in any other EU country.
