X Case remembered by rally

The alliance for a no vote in the upcoming abortion campaign is holding a march in Dublin City centre today to mark the anniversary of the X Case.

The group says that the rally is a display of solidarity with the 14-year-old girl, Miss X, who was permitted to travel to the UK for an abortion in 1992.

The group argues that there is no real reason to roll back the X Case legislation as the electorate has already made a decision concerning the issue.
