Prince Charles on his way home

Britain’s Prince Charles has left Ireland after his overnight visit to Dublin and surrounding areas.

Speaking as he departed in Co Wicklow, the Prince acknowledged that the Irish people suffered centuries of oppression and suffering at the hands of the British authorities.
