Two men armed with sledgehammers and possibly a gun have escaped with a small amount of cash after raiding a post office in Co Tipperary.

Two men armed with sledgehammers and possibly a gun have escaped with a small amount of cash after raiding a post office in Co Tipperary.

The men, who were wearing balaclavas, entered the post office in Cappawhite at around 11.40am and are believed to have made off with less than €300.
