Alleged Real IRA pair due in court in London

Two men charged in connection with Real IRA attacks in London and Birmingham last year are due to appear in court in London today.

The pair were arrested in the North last week.

One of them, a 33-year-old, is charged with causing explosions and possessing a grenade and a firearm with intent to endanger life.

The other man, aged 24, is charged with conspiring to cause an explosion.
