The Bloody Sunday inquiry remained at the centre of a legal battle today as a High Court judge allowed families of the dead to challenge a ruling that police officers should give evidence from behind screens.

Mr Justice Kerr today gave the families leave to seek a judicial review of the decision last week by Lord Saville’s inquiry in Derry.
