A coach containing 25 children had a narrow escape after an iron bar was thrown at it on a motorway.

A coach containing 25 children had a narrow escape after an iron bar was thrown at it on a motorway.

Police confirmed the bus, which also contained eight adults, was struck with the bar thrown from Bellevue Bridge near Glengormley on the outskirts of north Belfast last night at around 8.15pm.
