Sligo man dies in house fire

A man in his 70s has died in a house fire in Co Sligo.

The man’s body was discovered by a neighbour at his home at Carrowcushcloy, near Collooney, just before midday.

The man’s name has not yet been released and a post mortem is to be carried out on the body.

Gardai have ruled out foul play as a possible cause.
